Life Direction

 Where Next?

I love this quote....."Life is not always fair.  Sometimes you get a splinter sliding down a Rainbow" (Terri Guillemets)

Welcome to Autumn. Autumn follows Summer and gives way to Winter.  Autumn is a season of change.  The leaves change colour, animals begin to prepare for winter, the days start to get shorter and the weather starts to get colder.

AND it's a time to take stock!! What do I mean by that?

We (humans) don't like to change, some of us find it difficult to adapt, some of us find it difficult to admit we need to change, some of us know we want to change, we want a more joyful life, a financially free life, a new love, an image refresh! What stops you?

Fear.

Fear is at the heart of many reasons we get stuck, stay the same, do the same, if you always do what you’ve always done, you'll always get what you’ve always got!!! There are many ways to look at how we perceive change and what we do about it.

Covid-19 has brought us much change. We have had to adapt our lives and our businesses.  I certainly have!  I have learned new skills, re-evaluated what I want and how I want to live my life going forward.  Have you?  What I have learned and acknowledged about myself

(believe me when I say "Life is not always fair.  Sometimes you get a splinter sliding down a Rainbow")

- is that I am resilient, I am a positive person, I love supporting and nurturing women, I am a Catalyst!!!  For over 15 years I have been a professional change agent.  I have helped, coached, nurtured, supported, mentored people, mostly women, wanting more through change.  All the while going through many changes myself.  To be a good coach you need to have life experience, and be able to hold a safe, non-judgemental space for a person to be able to explore, discover and develop their life, business, relationships and most of all, who they are and what they want.

5 Ways To Bring Change The Autumnal Way

  1. Autumn brings a slower, softer process of change.  Take time to explore what you want. Use your imagination to explore how you would like your life to look.

  2. Notice your thoughts, give them space to breathe.  Go for long walks in nature and notice the changes.  Allow the same for you.

  3. Listen to how you speak to yourself.  Are you constantly telling yourself off?  Do you speak with anger?  What do you say to yourself in your low moments?  Reframe, change your language, try looking positive and kind words instead.

  4. Relax - Autumn is time to reflect.  Write a list of your achievements, your happiest moments of the year so far.

  5. Be kind to yourself and to others.  Say something nice to yourself and someone else every day.  You will feel better and so will those around you.

I wish you a joyful and colourful Autumn.  Stay safe.

From Image Consultant To Rainbow Healer!

2020 will definitely go down in history as a year of sadness, challenges and awakening (enlightenment)!

I have been thankful for the time in self-isolation; as well as feeling extremely stressed, worried, emotional, happy, sad and anxious.  It has forced me to face up to stuff!  Finances, business, lifestyle and whatever….  I believe this time has given us a chance to see the planet begin to heal and the impact of how we have been living.  We have taken for granted our families, friends, travel, freedom.  I bet you have changed a few things in your own life and will probably be looking to change more… for the better, not only for you as an individual but hopefully for the benefit of humankind!

Well...I got that off my chest.  Here goes the other bit!

I am coming out as a Rainbow Energy Healer! That is very different to an Image Consultant and Style and Confidence Coach you may say…. I say actually it is very much part of my journey - haha - yes I used that word.  We are all on a lifetime journey.  Sometimes we have to wait for a bus and then 10 come along all at the same time, slight exaggeration but I hope you get what I am saying.  I digress!  So… I am writing this with the intention of letting you know how I got to here?

At the beginning of our quarantine period, knowing how precious and limited the time when we were allowed out was, we (my lifetime partner - Zac) began to look for new places to visit that we could walk to. We discovered woods, and fields, and people saying hello and smiling.  It was good to see such kindness, humanity and beauty.  I began to take photographs with a colour theme and realised that I was being called to stand in my light.  Being self-employed and unable to continue delving into people’s wardrobes, my business had stalled.  I had been training and developing my intuitive energy healing work with the encouragement, and mentor-ship, of the fabulous Fraz!  As well as this, I also knew that all my previous training as a colour specialist, a life and intuitive coach gave me the knowledge and insight that would enhance my new calling - a bit like a tannoy in an airport - "Calling Flight Number… Go To Gate Number….  ..Calling Amanda O’Reilly"...

It’s time to step into my true purpose.  This is and has been a lifestyle choice for me… My interests and personal development throughout my life have led me to this point.

DragonDragons. Chakras. Lotus Flower. Intuition.  What? Meaning?...My Father lived in India for many years and developed a knowledge of the Chakras and Transcendental Meditation.  I remember seeing him meditate with his amazing picture of the Chakras from a young age.  He called my mother Lotus Flower? Couldn’t tell you why, except that like a lotus flower she is incredibly resilient and beautiful inside and out….  Dragons, they have been a symbol and reality in my life forever! Intuition, I learned to listen to this...our gut, our heart, particularly picking up on the energy and vibrations around us.
So although at first glance this transition may seem totally different.  For me - it is the opening of another chapter in the book of life.  I have trained and will continue to train for the rest of my life.  Thank you to my wonderful family and friends for supporting me always.

๐ŸŒˆ❤️๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒˆ I love you ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก❤️๐ŸŒˆ

When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny.

So, I am now Amanda O'Reilly, Rainbow Energy Healer; helping you find your pot of Gold!
